Lego Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer

Lego, the popular toy-manufacturer, has been pumping out Star Wars themed sets for a while now. In fact, they’ve been getting so good at recreating the worlds of a galaxy far, far away that they can now make an entire Imperial Star Destroyer out of Lego bricks!

Why I should buy Lego Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer

As a kid, I would always want to buy Lego Star Wars sets because it was so much fun. I also remember being scared of the Imperial Star Destroyer because it seemed so large and menacing. If I was able to get it now, I would be able to have the thrill of being the little rebel fighting against this massive threat.

Lego Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyers are the perfect gift for any Star Wars fan. They are affordable, come with many Lego pieces, and can easily be put together. The kit includes missiles, a rotating gun turret, and a detachable mini-fig of Darth Vader.

Will it make me happy?

I have to admit that I’m a little intrigued by this set, but do I think it will make me happy? Probably not. Given the size of the ship and how many little pieces need to be put together, it’s going to take me a while before I’m ready to play with it. I also don’t know how much joy I’ll get out of building something that has been done so many times before. Maybe this is a good opportunity for some extra tutorial videos from Lego on YouTube or on their website.

Can anyone give an honest review of Lego Star Wars?

The Lego Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer is a great toy for any fan. It features an opening cockpit for two minifigures, stud blasting cannons at the front of the ship, and an elevator at the rear that lowers the boarding ramp to let your minifigures get on board with their weapons. One downside is that it does not have a lot of interior detail- you’ll have to buy additional sets to add more playtime fun.

Final Conclusions

My final thoughts on the Lego set is that there are too many small pieces. The price of $190 for this set is not worth it, but if you’re a collector then I would recommend getting this set.

Bullet Point: Description of the Brick Separator tool
Paragraph: The beauty of these holders was most important when my daughter liked to play with them all the time. But I also needed something to keep them separated in boxes – like my silly hair red ribbon. So this holder which is simply attached to the edge of the box with double-sided tape (or something similar) solves both problems nicely!

Difficulty with Building This Model

This was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. The arms are not recreationally configurable to my enjoyment, so they have to go in three different places in the kit.
Also, the wires for the legs are also being working with is sometimes challenging. They do not slide in an out of their casing very well because even though they are rubbery they still form a distinctly cylindrical shape.

Tools and Supplies Needed to Build It

You’ll need 6 Lego 6×12 plates, 6 Lego 6×6 plates, 6 Lego 6×2 (or 12) blocks, 2 white round bricks with holes in them. Total cost for all of this is around $30 or so.
